Teams will compete for a total prize pool of INR 25 lakh!

The Free Fire tournament as part of the Esports Premier League 2021, gets the first 1 million registrations in the nation-wide tournament. The registrations went live on the 16^th of June 2021 and concluded the last phase of registration with the colossal number of registrations.

ESPL 2021, with Infinix smartphone as the presenting sponsor, is being played under the aegis of a gamer-centric campaign #ESPLGameSeFame that encourages players to showcase their top game and get recognition in the industry.

Out of the registered 1 million, only the top 400 players from over 88 different teams will proceed to level 2. In this level, the 8 top Indian teams will join the qualified 88 teams from level 1, and the resulting 96 teams will be divided into 8 groups of 12 each competing for the top 8 spots.

These top 8 teams will represent the eight regions of the Esports Premier League 2021. These eight teams will compete for a staggering INR 25 Lakhs prize pool in the main event.

Unfortunately, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic in India, the organizers have been forced to host the event virtually, and it will be going on over the next two and a half months. Fans can watch the event live on the OTT giant Disney+ Hotstar, Free Fire official streaming platform Booyah and Malayalam OTT platform Koode alongside official YouTube and Facebook channels of India Today and Aaj Tak and its websites.
